Water Parameters:
These Caridina species thrive in aquariums with active soil, a substrate that buffers the pH to between 5 and 6.5, fostering an ideal environment for freshwater shrimp, particularly Caridina varieties.
Recommended Parameters:
pH: 5.5 to 6.5
GH: 4-6
KH: 0 – 1
Nitrate: 0-20 ppm for optimal results.
Temperature: Should be stable, ranging from 20-23 degrees Celsius.
Our Tips
Shrimp flourish in a substantial colony of 10-20 individuals to ensure a balanced mix of genders. They naturally do better in groups—the more, the merrier!
Feed the shrimp a variety of foods every other day.
