Amano shrimp hardy and are transparent with a brownish tint and have small dots along their sides. They are peaceful creatures and excellent additions to community aquariums, contributing to a clean and healthy environment.
Algae Control: Amano shrimp excel at consuming various algae types, such as soft green algae, hair algae, and some black beard algae, making them essential for a clean aquarium.
Detritus Removal: They maintain the cleanliness of the aquarium substrate by scavenging leftover food and organic debris.
Low Maintenance: Amano shrimp are hardy and adaptable, requiring minimal care beyond basic tank maintenance.
Ideal tank mates include small, peaceful fish like tetras, guppies, and rasboras. It's best to avoid aggressive species that may harm the shrimp.

- pH: 6-7.5
- GH: 1-12 dGH
- kH: 3-7
- Nitrate: 0-20 ppm for optimal results
- Temperature: 18-27°C
