With a deep charcoal shell and a striking body scattered with vivid orange spots, they’re like little underwater jewels gliding gracefully across the substrate.

💛 Native to the clear, mineral-rich waters of Sulawesi, these peaceful snails are perfect companions for Caridina and Neocaridina shrimp. They spend their days gently grazing on biofilm, detritus, and algae, helping to keep your tank clean while adding a gorgeous splash of colour and personality.

They thrive in warm, stable, mineral-rich water just like other Sulawesi species:

🌡️ Temperature: 25 – 29 °C (77 – 84 °F) — around 27 °C is ideal

⚖️ pH: 7.4 – 8.2 — slightly alkaline for good shell health

🪸 GH: 6 – 10 dGH — essential for calcium absorption and shell growth

🪶 KH: 3 – 6 dKH — keeps pH stable and shells strong

💎 TDS: 150 – 250 ppm — best balance for comfort and health

🏡 Tank Size: 20 L + (comfortable in small groups)
