The OE Zebra Babaulti Shrimp is one of the most beautiful and recognisable Caridina species in the hobby. With bold dark and light striping running along the body and tail, these shrimp look like miniature underwater zebras — each one sporting its own unique pattern.

One of their most fascinating traits is their ability to swiftly change colour when alarmed or startled. Their stripes can deepen or fade dramatically within seconds, creating a striking contrast against darker substrates, rocks, or moss. This natural behaviour makes them incredibly captivating to watch.

 Zebra Babaultis are peaceful, hardy, and easy-going. They happily graze all day on biofilm, algae, and shrimp foods, thriving in planted, mature environments.

💡 Excellent Compatibility (Important!):

• Zebra Babaulti do NOT crossbreed with Neocaridina, making them perfect for mixed colonies.

• They can be kept in either Caridina  or Neocaridina setups.

• Shrimp Cove keep these in Neocaridina parameters, so they’re already adapted to those conditions.
