💬 Shrimp Cove Note:
Often found in aquariums due to their usefulness in maintaining tank cleanliness. They are named for their coiled, spiral-shaped shells, which resemble a ram's horn. These snails are known for their hardy nature and ability to thrive in a variety of water conditions, making them popular in both home and public aquariums.
Reproduction: Ramshorn snails are hermaphroditic, meaning they have both male and female reproductive organs. They can reproduce rapidly if left unchecked, so controlling their population is important in aquariums. So you don't need many to get you started!
