These are a captivating choice for aquascaping enthusiasts, know for their Known for their unique "fishbone" pattern on their bodies, which is marked by a series of contrasting stripes or lines that resemble a fish's spine.

Caridina species thrive in tanks with active soil that lowers the pH to an optimal range of 5 to 6.5, which is perfect for freshwater shrimp, especially Caridina varieties.

The recommended parameters are:

pH: 5.5 to 6.5

GH: 4-6

KH: 0 – 1

Nitrate: 0-20 ppm for optimal results.

Temperature: Maintain a stable range of 20-23 degrees Celsius.

Our Tips:

It is advisable to start with a group of 10-20 shrimp to ensure a balanced gender ratio and more vibrant behaviour.
